Reflection time

My best friend asked me the other day what did I weigh 1 year ago and I just looked back on my health tracker and on 1/1/12 I weighed in at 314 pounds.  Now here it is almost 1/1/13 and my weight is 180....What a difference one year makes.  I feel better and look like a different person, but the biggest change is attitude.  I no longer feel disgusted looking in a mirror or trying to avoid the mirror!

Everyone, this is a remarkable journey/transition to a new and improved life.  Although I am not done with losing or with my commitment to lose, it has changed my mindset and lifestyle completely.  The work is hard, exercising and walking every day and thinking about all that passes my lips is sometimes a chore but it is certainly worth the efforts.

To those considering or just starting out....more power to you. Enjoy the ride and be thankful for having the opportunity to enjoy life once again.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Looking forward to 2013 and the changes life has to offer to me!
