Needing suggestions for straw like hair

I've had 3 surgeries in the past year & the most recent was Jan 15th of this year & my hair is starting to fall out again, which I expected it to. Just seems like this time around my hair is looking strawy. I feel like I look like a scarecrow sometimes. Lol Is there anything that I can use in my hair to help with this? Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Biotin will help new growth. For bad condition you'll have to try a conditioning treatment. Leaving it on with clingfilm under a towel will help if absorb better.

I switched to Wen a few weeks ago and I really like it.  I color my hair and with the low humidity and heat on it's been looking like straw as well.  The Wen has helped a lot.  I think the best deal on it is QVC, there is also a Wen site.  I know Martita likes it as well, she may know of a place to get a good deal on it.

How many grams of fat do you eat every day! Toss out anything you're eating that's artificially made to be low- or no-fat, and start eating the 'real' stuff. Your body NEEDS a certain amount of fat every day, and it sounds like you're not getting it.

Wen is great stuff.  Their site makes you signup for monthly deliveries.  i buy mine from someone on eBay.  My hair went from straw to looking very shiny and conditioned after using Wen just a few times.

What a great recommendation 4 Wen!    I personally like the Fekkai high shine system ... U can buy a 3 part kit for around thirty bux at a drugstore to try it ... but the shampoo etc IS expensive ...

Klorane is also nice and rinses clean in  high-mineral city water .

When I remember .. I sleep in a hair  conditioning mask ...  I just put it on , put a towel on the pillow and a knotted grocery store plastic bag over my head lol.Not the sexiest look... but the hair I rinse out the next morning ( no shampoo) is soft , shiny , bouncy  and stays that way for quite a while .

Paul Mitchell serum works wonders, I bleach my hair so I understand the dry thing.  I use almond oil spray for shine, its with the ethnic hair care products and it works magically.

I abuse my poor hair on a daily basis..shampoo/volumizer stuff/blowdryer/volumizer spray crap/etc/etc...

For the past probably 20+ years I have sworn by Aussie "3 minute miracle"-the stuff in the purple bottle..it truly IS some miracle stuff-for less than $4...In fact, I used it just yesterday, after I over processed my a-hem "naturally red" hair and had the "straw head" thing going on..was reading to seek employment in the nearest corn field...

Two of my sisters are high brow hair stylists, who have provided me with various high $ products over the years-NONE have come close to working as well-for me-as the Aussie 3 minute miracle..

Home remedy...Good ole Mayonnaise...massage it all over your scalp, and hair...Put warm towel around your head for 10 minutes...Then rinse...Then use a good hair conditioner.
