So sick of all the rude people

There is a handful of people on these boards that seem to act like they are better then everyone here. So some people ask stupid maybe even repetitive questions oh well move on to the next post. Isn't this the place where you should be able to post somethign and hope someone has been in your position and can offer a little insight. It took me a few times to figure out how to navigate the page. I almost feel like you should make your own page what a boring page that would be! I'm surprised you even had weight loss surgery you seem to have all the answers hmmmmmm maybe not!

When you post on a public forum, you will certainly get the opinions of a variety of different people, with different approaches, and with different personalities. This is no different than your personal interactions in real life. In real life, you probably choose to ignore these individuals (or cut them out of your life) and I would suggest doing the same here. It's not going to change. You can either choose to ignore these posters and "move on to the next post" or block them.

You can choose what your experience here is like - you have that power. If they are going to frustrate or upset you, then I think you should take the advice above. If you do not choose to ignore or block them... then that is your choice.

Hang in there!

Some of us have a much more straightforward communication style than others. no none here claims to have ALL the answers but many of us are a number of years out from surgery and successfully maintaining our weight loss, have seen all sorts of people come and go from here (and therefore have seen some people be very successful and seen others be very UNsuccessful, and can sometimes predict who is going to struggle down the road).

Yes, you are perfectly free to post whatever you like.  You are also free to ignore responses from those you find "rude" (just as you suggest vets skip the "stupid question" (your words NOT mine) and "repetitive questions" posts.  Most of us, in fact, do skip the ones that we know BEFORE opening it are going to be the 6000th post on the 3 week stall, etc., but very often you cannot tell what the post is about UNTIL you open it (since so many people love vague titles like "help","I have a question", "is this normal:", etc..

If you find certain people so rude, you are also free to utilize the Block feature and block them.  After that, they won't see any of your posts/responses and you won't see any of theirs.  You will, however, almost certainly miss out on some valuable feedback or advice.

Finally, for someone who is on here chiding vets for being rude, you final remarks are beyond rude: ". I almost feel like you should make your own page what a boring page that would be! I'm surprised you even had weight loss surgery you seem to have all the answers hmmmmmm maybe not!"  Perhaps you should should look at the 4 fingers pointing back in your direction while you are shaking your one finger at others.

You come on here complaining of rudeness, so I will assume that rudeness isn't something you care for or engage in.  Well, that is until I read the last line of your post where you are being all kinds of rude yourself.  My grandmother always told us growing up not to complain about things that we ourselves are guilty of doing.  This post seems like some stone casting going on by someone who is also guilty or capable of outright rudeness.  Just thought I would point that out.

I wouldn't recommend fighting fire with fire, save your self, let it go and use your block function. NO MORE SAND! You are only opening yourself up to the contempt and detestation of those that can help you. Take a few deep breaths, use the block function and find something else

True victory comes at the very end, when you can say, " I lived, and will gladly do it again." View "failure" as a setback, and meet each accomplishment with a larger goal.
