I read on KY medicaid website that in 2014 they will no longer cover bariatric surgery!!!!

Give your state a call to verify if this is true or not. There should be a number on the back of your card. Good luck!

Unfortunately, in an effort to reduce costs, some insurance plans are dropping things like weight loss surgery and chiropractic care.  I would call to verify, but is there any way you can qualify before the end of the year?

Thank Heavens! I called Medicaid and ask them if they are still going to cover Bariatric Surgery and they said YES!!! Sorry for the misinformation!
