Stomach pain - 10 months out

I am about 10 months post op and have lost 108 lbs so far.  I have been doing great but just recently started waking up during the night with severe pain in my stomach.  I assumed it was hunger so I will get up and eat a little something.  Sometimes it helps and other times it does not.  It feels like cramps or someone squeezing my stomach. Now I am having this problem sometimes during the day as well.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Set to see my surgeon on May 8th about this.

PPIs are proton pump inhibitors, like prilosec or prevacid.  You can buy them over the counter and see if they help.  They take a few days to kick in.  Not all reflux feels like heartburn.  It also wouldn't hurt to have your gallbladder checked, although having had gallstones, they are extremely painful to the point many people end up in the ER.

Are you sure the pain is from your stomach?  Could it be your gallbladder or kidney stones?

I am pretty sure it is my stomach but I was just talking about it to my sister and she thought it could be my gall bladder.  It is in the upper section of my stomach under my ribs.  Pretty much in the middle.  I do not have any reflux or indigestion.  Just pain.  Feels like cramping.

I am pretty sure now that it is my gall bladder.  Going to the dr tomorrow to have it checked out.  Thanks for your help.  : )
