Hiding my scale

I think I am going to hide my scale. I weight myself at least 3 times a day. I am driving myself nuts. I am only 13 days post op and I have lost 13 pounds, but I am driving myself crazy with my obsession of the scale. One of my first questions post-op was where is the scale? The doctor told me no, I was not weighing myself 5 hours after surgery. I am just so excited to start my new healthy life :)

I am going to try to weigh myself once a month on the 16th since my surgery was May 16th.

Was anyone else obsessed with the scale post op?

Me too.  My husband is a truck driver and I told him to take the scale with him, so I can weigh myself when he is home.

I have a tendency to get really obsessed with numbers, so I knew that this was a trap I could easily fall into.  Instead, I started using the site TrendWeight.  I weigh myself daily, after I use the toilet but before I do anything else, and then TrendWeight tracks everything for me.  It takes that obsession of weight and day to day fluctuations away for me.  It's amazing.  I can see the way my weight is trending and that's what I need to focus on.  I love it.  :)
