My parents do it all of the time.  Mostly they have to sit reclined in a chair for a while until it passes.  They both vomit a lot too.  I'm not trying to be snarky, but I really don't have experience in that dept.  The thought of throwing up and being that uncomfortable makes me very vigilant. Try the reclining thing and maybe some Tums??

Thanks. I walked it off. I will never do that again. I ate one bite to many! I don't ever want to feel that again!

That last bite is so tricky! I've gotten in the habit of leaving myself a little bit hungry because there have been many times when that last bite I feel like I have room for just pushes me over the edge. Taking it slow is key and something I'm still working on.

Well, I had that happen to me a lot too early out. And it wasn't because I was overeating in the traditional sense or that I wasn't vigilant. Sometimes it simply happens with RNY, despite our best efforts and vigilance.

I usually walk it off. I refuse to throw up. I have only did that two times in two years. I sometimes will lay down till it passes. It happens mostly when I eat too fast.

We really need to pay attention to our bodies when we eat. Like my nose will start to run if I ate too much or too fast.

Your runny nose is actually your vagus nerve telling you to STOP, you are full (not "too fast"). I have a very clear vagal response (runny nose, sneezing) and when I experience that, I stop eating right away - it's my "hard stop" signal.

I admit my downfall is not chewing enough but it feels the same way to me. I too am a walk it off person. And it has the added bonus of getting you moving.

I have had that feeling where I shouldn't have taken that last bite or two.  The best thing for me to do is to walk.  It kind of move things down for me.
