As soon as you are off your narcotic pain medication and feel like it. I could have driven the day after I got home.

Ditto what the other poster said. The only constraint is the pain meds. As soon as you're off them I was told I can drive.

Because of the twisting you end up doing etc while driving, I wasn't comfortable driving for a week.

I was told 24hrs off pain meds. That being said I was off pain meds by at end of day 2 post surgery but didn't feel like driving until day 5.
