not tolerating cooler weather-is this normal after surgery?

Yep, as others have said it's very normal. I say I've lost all my insulation. Lol :)

Had VSG on 9/28/15

Lost 161 lbs since surgery, LOST 221 lbs overall so far!!

I'm always in a hoody in my house or wrapped in a blanket post op. Seems it happened right after surgery.

I take a blanket to the movies, and never leave home without some kind of kimono/sweater/jacket...even in this Texas summer !!

Ditto the cold club! I was never cold until I lost a lot of weight.

yep, totally normal....but I think it does help once your weight stabilizes at your 'new normal' (not too skinny) and if you exercise to keep your metabolism up and running. So if I work out in the morning less likely to be cold later on. But I do know that frequently I am colder than most the folks around me. But this is okay...easier to throw another layer on than take off the fat!

I love it. I like wearing hats and hoodies, etc. I'm cold now, but like it. So much better than being hot all the time.

HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

Patients can get cold during surgery, particularly because of the drugs used as anesthetics mcdvoice.
