A lot of us are Shocked when we see someone sincerely frustratedly asking 4 help

When I see someone treated as a troll because they're not giving the " expected" answers and then it turns out they're male and the numbers are tot different ...

I get a lil frustrated .

Can't we as a community b a bit more welcoming and kind ? Not everyone who posts is from the US or Canada or GB or her colonies . Bariatric surgery is becoming common even in Eastern European and Arabic countries not to mention India where its hugely popular .

I hope we agree that the site plays an essential role in support and advice post op ... and we posters make up the site .

Acceptance is so important ... geez even for me it was and the greater society never had a prob w m cuz I was pretty if plump ...and smart enuf 2 b interesting while dumb enuf 2 b used .

We need 2 b kind , understanding n watch out 4 each other ... I hope U agree .

I find nothing shocking about someone asking for help on a site called obesityhelp.

No one replied 2 the guy ( it turns out ) askin 4 help w dumpin n wantin 2 gain weight .

He's clearly not a troll and understandably scared at less than 150 lbs my height.

There were 8 responses before you made a comment. I don't know what you're seeing, perhaps as another poster said, they've all blocked you so you can't see their comments.

Actually there are numerous replies and very helpful ones at that. So I would venture to gather you think that there wasn't any because most of the posters have you blocked.

I asked for help with revision stories and was treated pretty shabbily. I didn't give any information except that I wanted weightloss surgery after rny and was basically slagged off for getting fat again and not using my "tool" correctly.

Who needs that! We have all dealt with that and it has never been easy to handle.

I just wanted revision stories because they are few and far between.

Not everyone was harsh but I stuck around cause I have a lot of time to fill and hoped I would stumble on the help I needed.
