Case of the Blahs

Weight is bouncing around all over the place.  I am 17 stupid pounds to a healthy BMI and 32 pounds to my final goal weight.  I haven`t changed a darn thing in my eating and I`m still exercising.

I have a case of the gimmie gimmies......  I want that 164 so badly by my one year surgiversary but with each passing week I am starting to see it may be impossible.  I`d need to lose 17 pounds in 6.5 weeks and I can`t even lose an ounce right now!

I`m just venting really.  It`s such a long journey to get to goal when you`re with a BMI of over 50.  I am tired of reading posts of other people making it to goal in 6 months.  I want to experience that feeling too!!!  Gosh darn it.

Girl, please... you've done AMAZING. Who cares if you make it at month 12 or month 14? You'll get there. Just keep doing you. I might consider shaking it up a little, up your calories to 1200 for 2 days and then drop them down... that usually gets me moving if I've been stuck more than 2 weeks. Otherwise, just leave it. It will come off... xoxo

Thanks Candy!  I know you`re right.  I really do know it.  I just have those days you know?  Where this whole process seems like some kind of sick mind game.  I just have to keep on trucking....even if I don't make it to my goal until my birthday next summer...I know I will still make it.

It will. And I have my own fair share of "blah" days... or worse... "eff it all" days. LOL. I don't think that those of us that start out with a high BMI are really understood by everyone else sometimes. I mean, it's a LONG time to stay at it. You gotta be committed to it and some days... well, some days, you just aren't. ((HUGS))

For now, I at least want to hit the 180 I set 2.5 years ago. I wanted to hit that before plastics but...oh well.

"Dont be like me hah!"

Don't be like you?????????????????????????????

I want to be exactly like you....you are my hero!

You are the girl that went from gorging yourself on pizza and never moving to running races. You are the epitome of who I want to be. Not just now, but always. You have an athletes heart, mind and determination. I want to be just like you.

Alison, please don't run down my role model. She is one of the bravest, hardest working, devoted, woman I have ever "known". I wish you could see you like we all see you. You Rock!

Hugs,

Sharon
