3oz sleeve and a 150 common channel...
I believe its all relative. I on the other hand have been on the side of losing slower than many others but have a 50CC and 4oz sleeve. So go figure! I think it is much based on your age, how many prior surgeries have you had before, what your metabolism is like, genes etc.. that determine your success rate and speed.
I agree with Sweetdew. In my last four years of hanging around here, I have decided it's all a crap shoot.! So many things enter into it, it is impossible to predict what the out come will be. I have heard it said that the intestines are soooo slippery it is impossible for even a skilled surgeon to measure accurately, using the Hess method.
I was given a 2.7 sleeve and a 100 common channel.... I wish I had a 150

I also agree. Some people have problems with a 100cm cc, some with a 75cm cc, some no problems with either. It is impossible to predict.
For me, my restriction is nonexistent at this point - I'm over 11 years post-op. I eat a ton, and I mean a ton, as much as I did pre-op. It is surely my malabsorption that keeps my weight off (obviously). I have a 75cm cc and I'm very glad I do. Of course I have digestive issues - and of course I have to be careful about them and about my nutrition/supplementation. And of course sometimes I eat really badly and I pay the price. But so what.
