Hello all! I am at my two month mark and doing well. I have had no issues , no struggles and pretty much 100% back to normal. Eating and drinking well... vitamins going down well. I have lost a total of 42 pounds and feel great. I am focusing on protein and have had no bathroom issues since 2 weeks out!!

I know many people getting ready to have this surgery stress and worry about the side effects and I know they can happen..... Just thought it is nice to share a "things are going well" post :)

Thank you everyone! I am pleased with how it all went... The two weeks after were a bit rough BUT nothing major and since then I got better everyday. At about 6 weeks I felt almost normal and now at 2 months I am so thrilled to feel normal. The weight has been dropping faster than I thought.... Before Christmas I seemed to not loose any weight for awhile and I was eating more around the holidays and well the weight started dropping again.....and well I like that :D

I have heard stories of issues and I have witnessed so many with others that when mine went 100% smooth .....Thrilled! Hope all you getting ready to have it done get have a super smooth recovery like I did!

Miranda, that is so great to hear! I'm 7 weeks out as of today and I've also lost 42 lbs. To me that seems so slow, so it's good to hear your progress is similar. I'm glad to hear you're doing so well!

Surgery date 11/20/13 with Dr. Jaime Ponce De Leon, Tijuana, Mexico.
