Injury - When to seek help?
About 1.5 weeks ago I finished a run and thought I was developing a cramp in my calf. I stretched it out and realized the pain was lower and actually just above the ankle on the inside. I could press and really feel the area effected.
I did some RICE and it seemed to help. I could get the pain to lower and I was getting very worried about my ability to run the 10 Miler last weekend. I made it through without much pain.
The lingering pain is still there. Trying to play doctor ...

Being a new athlete (wow that was weird typing that!) I don't want to jump the gun seeking help and not really sure if I did where to start.
Anyone care to play doctor ... lol or give me some of your experiences surrounding injury?
Thanks
Tom

As far as what you describe, I have never heard of it before. Sorry about the lack of help.

I'd definitely get it checked out. You don't want it to get worse so that it really impacts your running.

Who else is having this pain? I must have missed that.

The description sounds so much like plantar fasciitis but the pain is in the wrong spot.
