What, no workout thread yet? Okay, I'll get it goin'...
Did 35 minutes of lap swimming this morning, and I'm heading out the door now for a walk in order to enjoy this Indiana sunshine!

stationary bike for 10 minutes
free weights (bent over row, lunges & overhead press) and knee lifts - 30 minutes
Going to my PT guy tomorrow with high hopes that he'll bust out his magic fingers and fix my leg so I can run by Saturday... keep your fingers crossed!!

HS basketball officiating is winding down and football officiating training starts again in a few months (that has PT). I ran at lunch today for the fiorst time in 2 weeks and ,...man I stink,...3 miles in 45 min. SO I'm a bit fired up to get back into my daily regime. I have proved to myself that going up and down the basketball court was not even maintaining my stamina and speed.
Even though I've got to admit, some of those recreation league weekends with 5-8 games a day kicked my butt when they were the older boys games and their frequent fast breaks.
Being my first year officiating, I was afraid if I ran and tried to officiate, I'd be too tired to do all of my assignments. I see now, it should have been supplemental to running. Lesson learned. I also subscribed to Referee magazine and they did a profile on a college ref and he ran to stay in shape in addition to his traveling and officiating games. Now I know,.....

15 minutes on elliptical trainer.
1 hour group class called "Group Power", a barbell program with exercises similar to weight lifters.
15 minutes on dreadmill. Plus, 3 minutes cool-down.
15 minutes on cross-ramp elliptical trainer.
15 minutes on stationary bike.

4 miles running on the treadmill - alternating between 5.7 mph and 6.5. Can't believe i did 6.5!!!
