This bunny got out and ran 7 miles.  well, 6.25 and then i walked the rest - my right knee felt funny so I laid off at the end.  Last "long" run before the race next weekend.

Hi all...just back from church and got dinner on the stove. Gonna have my mom for dinner, then I'll go and take a walk in the beautiful sunshine after she goes home.

...just read that...we're not gonna eat my mom, we're having chicken...

For me, today is a rest day. I have set a new goal for myself and that is to rack up 3500 cal burned on my HRM. Last week it was at 2527 so I know I can do it...just have to plan out the workouts better.

I am doing research on nutritional guidelines for weightlifting and athletes. If anyone has info...please share :)

I think I was not getting in enough nutrients this last week and felt soooo fatigued. I had protein drinks with NO CARBS by choice and I never really eat carbs with my meals. So the ratio was way off. I have changed up my shakes and will adjust the carbs to match the workouts. Let's see if that gets me to my goal...

Have a great day today!!!

LOL @ Jenny...I'm having "Mom" today as well!

Rest day for me. Outside of my right ankle and top of foot a bit sore after long run yesterday. Thinking I may have tied my shoe too tight and not allowed for the swelling that occurs in feet when running.  May take a walk later with the doggie...

Happy Easter everyone. However you celebrate, if you celebrate, I hope it is a peaceful day for all!

Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up.
It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed.

It knows that it must run faster than the slowest gazelle, or it will starve.
It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or a gazelle
when the sun comes up you'd better be running.

I did a 5 K this morning with my husband. It was nice to run together; we do not get to but a few times a month.
Happy Easter
