Tuesday Workouts
10-mile time trial with the local bicycling club, with an extra 7 miles for warm-up/cool-down.
With my new pedals and shoes, I carved 1:14 off my last time, which is pretty cool. The club awards points each week based on improvement. Since I'm the new kid on the block, I've been able to PR each week, so far. They're going to think I was sand bagging that first week, but the hills kicked my butt. The legs are getting stronger and I'm learning how to better use my gears.
