Hello fellow people.
I need a little insight. I am 5'8 ; my highest recorded weight is 300 pounds which was about 2 years ago. When I started this journey I was 275(May 2009). I had surgery June 2010, and weighed 240.
It is now 5 months later and I weigh 189-193. My weight lost isn't where I want it to be and I haven't  budged in about a month. Actually I gained 2 pounds in the last week. But I am please with the inches I am losing. So I am really not complaining ; just stating facts.

Anyway In the last month in the half I have been hitting the gym hard.

My schedule is

Sunday - Any class at the gym (usually Zumba -- I think of it as Recreation)
Monday- Training (Full body professional work out , push ups - dead lifts - squats- lunges)
Tuesday - Pilates
Wednesday - Training ( See above description )
Thursday - Plyometrics
Friday - Rest Day
Saturday - Training (See above description)

Anyway the point of this is I wanted the opinion of people who also have lost weight as well as toned
I really want to lose about 40 more pounds .
But I am scared to lose skinny and I like the training. I like how my body is reacting to it.

Should I just stop and go back to only cardio and lose the weight, then start training?

Or is possible for me to lose and train at the same time?

If you enjoy your routine I would stick with it. If your body is changing for the good, the scale will catch up if food intake is good.
No longer about weight , it's all about living.

It is all about being healthy, not about numbers on a scale.  You are much healthier continuing your workouts and you like what you are seeing.  I say no brainer, keep up the awesome work you are doing!!  Just stay off the scale.

your routine seems pretty well rounded.  I'd suggest adjusting your diet rather than this routine, making sure you get plenty of protein, but maybe keep a calorie deficit of 300-400 calories and you'll more than likely decrease fat% while getting stronger.  You might look to be progressive in your workouts too as you move along, adding more cardio work in addition to above if you have time (add some time on the stair master instead of lunges on Mondays, mix in a spinning class somewhere).   I am a firm believer you CAN lose weight while building muscle and getting stronger..only because I know I did it (and am still doing it).  You just gotta watch that diet like a hawk, and make sure you keep your body supplied with high quality protein throughout the day and night (I usually take a casein shake before bed after a hard workout day).
