 Thanks everyone!  I appreciate it.  I have caught the bug and I am looking forward to my run in the morning.  Gonna try to improve my time for the next few weeks and not fall out of the habit of training.  Then we'll see what happens.  :)  It's such an awesome feeling, and still excited about it.  :)

For anyone that is thinking about doing one, do it!  There is every level of fitness present, the sprinters, the runners, the joggers, the walkers, and the in betweeners.  Go for it.

It was actually at Rock Springs, a 4-H area south of Junction City.  It was a nice run, nice views, and some hills.  They just had one in Manhattan last month.  

Thanks again, gonna keep on running for the fun of it.  :D

way to go!  almost everybody started with a 5K, and nobody ever forgets their first.  congrats and savor the accomplishment.
