Post-Op Workouts

Hi Everyone.
I am 7 weeks post-op VSG and just started back at the gym yesterday. I had been walking up until then, and now i've started doing a little running, and some weight training.
I'm wondering if anyone can give me any tips and tricks or things to avoid at the gym for a while?
The VSG program where I live is brand-new (I was only the 9th person to have it done here) and there is no support or info about workouts and what to do and what not to do.
Any and all suggestions welcomed! :)

At 7 weeks out some programs still have lifting restrictions but a lot don't. My doc said to do what I wanted assuming  I wouldn't do things that made me hurt. It too****il about 2 months out to be able to do things that stressed my core like step aerobics and Jazzercise.

Just listen to your body but do NOT baby it.  You should be able to do cardio and resistant training.  Ask your surgeon.
