I'm working on losing again, as I'm still about 40 or so pounds from my personal goal. But I have to be VERY VERY careful with my eating to not put it back on. I found for me, (high protein low carb diet) that the diet was more important than the exercise for weight loss BUT the exercise did help and I usually felt better emotionally with the workout.
My advice to you would be to meet up with your doctor. I've never felt better watching what I eat and exercising. I feel better emotionally as well as physically. You shouldn't be tired all the time that's not normal. It sounds as though you may have a more serious problem such as diabetes or a thyroid issue. Regardless, as Im not a medical professional, I'd get tested for a few things as (generally) better diet and lifestyle reflects in better energy levels (more efficient) and better mood.
Take care and update us with your progress!
I started dieting, without any kind of surgery, on July 4, 2010. I was 128 kg, or 282 pounds.(my height is 1.65 m, I am 40 Years old.)
I gradually lost weight, going down to 89 kg, or(196 pounds).
I was also exercising by walking 4 km or around 2 miles per day, and I was going on and off with Exercising in a gym. Some events happen to me in October 2011, which led me to gain back 4 kg(around 9 pounds). I had stopped the strict Atkins diet, and stopped exercising. This weight incredibly as may seem came back really fast. But because I had put so much energy into losing the weight I did not want to return to become obese again. I really want to lose another 20 Kilograms(around 45 pounds) so I can look thin feel better and more energetic.
So seeing That abrupt Weight Gain, I decided to go back to what I was doing before. I started my strict Atkins diet, whi*****ludes substituting some of my food with protein shakes, and I'm going again back to the gym. I see that my weight is going down again slowly and last three days of lost half a kilogram or 1 pound.
it seems that I have to be very very careful, as any day version immediately puts on the pounds for me.
What are you are experiences of this phenomena, what advice can you give me, what types of exercise should I be doing more?
There is something else that is very Important for me. It is the lack of energy I feel all the time tired and then I need to drink something with caffeine or take some pain killers, or both, so I can be normal and do the tasks that I need to do. If I go to the gym, afterwards I feel very tired, even though I'm not pushing myself that much, so doing productive work is a little bit hard.
It seems that I always had a problem with energy, which I really need to crack this mystery so I can go forward with my plans for life which are many. Thank you for any input you may have, it is so the connections of people through networks and forums like this which power can be obtained from the collection of many minds.– KennyS
Kelly- thanks for the tip. When I towel dry I usually tuck the towel in those places to get good and dry...it never occured to me to have something there all the time. I do baby powder which lasts a few hours...and sometimes it doesn't reach in my belly button far enough :( which is what my doctor recommeded using
Dee- good point, he probably just doesn't think it's a big issue as I'm not a real complainer...when I was passing large and numerous gallstones it took me a month of putting up with the attacks to finally drive myself to the hospital. THEN because the doctors were taking too long dealing with me at the hospitsl...I drove home and rescheduled against their request. I just deal with a LOT of discomfort. That's how I've always been, if I'm able to move life continues. Thanks for the pointer!

I forced myself to go to my personal trainer on Tue, was given a stirn talking to about not eating before the workout (I was light headed, all i ate was a piece of chicken just 3 hours before) I tried to explain that my appetite has gone through the floor.... :(
I have lost another pound, (the depressed me thinks-)ha! almost 2 days no food, and then eating less than a meal with every meal and all i lose was a pound, it was hard not to beat myself up about that... now that I am not so depressed, I am thankful there was a loss and not a gain.
I still dont have an appetite, and have started going back to the gym this morning. I am happy to report that I weighed in on Tue @ 234. :) so total loss 4lbs :)

Martin and Marion, the originators. I am skeptical of the efficacy of the other therapists. I went to a chain here and they have hypnotists but they did not do it for me. What does it take to call yourself a hypnotist?? It is not exactly a proven science.
