Do you still do OA? I have thought about giving it a try again, but I didn't find it that helpful for very long. I guess I would have to give it a decent amount of time though. I would love to talk more with you about this.

I love whole 30. It's good for figuring out what your food intolerance's are. You really need to meal plan, prep and cook everything. And by the end of the month it feels really limiting. I think its meant for getting on track. Not something someone can stick to forever.

Have anyone tried/done the whole30 diet? Let me know.  I've heard good things about it.

I tried Dr. Jeffrey Brown.Your Body Evolution

Difference in this program is that he not only helps you lose weight by eating normal fooD ( not optimist etc...) He looks at your overall wellness. He addressed my BP my hormones and my lifestyle decisions. He is also about life long wellness, not just immediate weightless. Fees are upfront $125.00/month for counsellors, orientation and vitamins. No hidden cost which I appreciated.

You may try to post that question on the revision forum.

I did not have that - but from what I heard - it is not really successful long term. Some report losing some weight initially- due to liquid diet they are put on, but not much long term.

Only your insurance can tell you if they approve it - some do some don't. Your doc can tell uou if they'll cover it.

I would recommend you check out Dr. jason Fung as he does have a very good program. You can get most of the details at www.thedietdoctor.com. Also, if you're not pursuing surgery, you may find more like minded people at www.sparkpeople.com or www.myfitnesspal.com. Good luck on your journey!

Topic: RE: Atkins Diet?

I have lost a lot of weight on Atkins , the problem is once you go off it you will gain the weight back plus some . If you choose Atkins it is for life .

Due to my A1C numbers being 5.9 and suffering from low blood sugar drops  I am trying the Keto diet . It has helped me a lot ! I  check my sugar twice a day and it has came down from 133 two hours after a meal to 108 . Fasting has came down from 109 to 101 . Only two weeks into it and I feel so much better

Topic: stretched stoma

MY stoma has stretched. My bariatric Dr said I should do the Rose Procedure they go down your throat to help tighten it and while I was in there he can make the pouch smaller too..Has anyone had the Rose Procedure done ?? If so what do you think of it, also will insurance cover it if the stoma has stretched

Thanks
