Bread
Yes you can eat bread that is not toasted. Just remember to take smaller bites and chew well to prevent it from becoming a dough ball. I always recommend a whole grain bread which will provide you with some fiber to keep things running smooth.

My surgery was 8/29/07 and I have on a few occasions eaten bread without it being toasted. I chew it very well and have had no problems. Hope this helps. Karen Schworm
