Hi all- I'm attempting to get back on track after falling off and having some regain. Nut told me to eat what I ate 6 weeks post op, but that was 2 years ago. It seems like all I can remember to eat is yogurt, egg salad, canned chicken, jello, broth, etc.

PLEASE share some favorite recipes with me. I can eat pretty much everything and am looking for some good recipes that my hubs can eat too, but are high protein enough to really help me get restarted on my journey.

THANKS!!

I'm no vet, but I would say you need dense protein to be reminded of your restriction. Start with 4oz portions of meat (grill up some steak or fish, or bake chicken thighs, etc). Then add in non-starchy veggies if you are still hungry!

Hubby made this for me as a treat. The cippolini's were slowly sauteed in a little olive oil, the shrimp and asparagus were given some brown on our grill (but you could just pan saute them). The scallops were then sauteed in the pan that the onions were browned in, to pickup the brown goodness left by the onions.

Total cook time 10 minutes!

It is better to travel and get lost...

Than never to travel at all.
