DEPRESSION

HOPE THAT SOMEONE CAN EMAIL ME ABOUT THERE THOUGHTS ON DEPRESSION

HEY! I am a fellow GA resident. I was having a pretty tough time with my depression prior to my surgery, but I am 12 days post op and have never felt better. I am still taking my meds, but I do not think I am absorbing them all because of the shortened digestion time. I have read many people's posts saying they had a hard time with depression after surgery and I was fully expecting this. HOwever, I was so amazed that the pain was nowhere near what I anticipated and I was not hungry and craving foods for once in my life. So, I am saying that my experience may be different than most. I will add that the first week when I was not going outside I started to feel stir crazy. So, I would advise you get out even if it is just for a half hour it will make a huge difference. I don't know what problems you are having so I could not be more specific. Tracy
