Starch Blocker

Has anyone's surgeon recommended taking a starch blocker? Mine advertises one in his office. I'm 7 months post-op, down 110 pounds, with 40 more to go - would love to try it and see if it helps. Not that I eat enough carbs, but would love to try and splurge. I'm dying for cheerios - sick cravings! Protein drinks only take me so far in the mornings now, and I know I can handle the carbs, I'm just afraid of the affect they will have on my will power!

I eat cheerios. My carb addiction never returned. 5 1/2 months post op down 96 lbs. The starch blocker did work for me preop, though.

What is the name of the Starch Blocker your doctor advertises? My doctor never mentioned one; however, I would love to investigate the product. Any info would be greatly appreciated. ;o)
