I haven't found any evidence that it washes down the food. The opening to the small intestine from stomach is really narrow. How can water simply wash down food from stomach without the food getting properly churned in it? I cannot find it anywhere online.

There's no need to stop drinking before eating. But no drinking at all with meals, or at least 30 minutes after finishing eating.

I say the same thing about other dogs. That I want to kiss them on the lips. It is funny that you said that.

I don't breed them. I would end up with fifty dogs. I wouldn't be able to part with them. When I got Bell the tri-color she was the only one. When I got the other two they were two other dogs but they were spoken for. I am not sure what would happen if there was more than one.

I would come home with two or three.

They are cool. They are very smart dogs. They are selective when it comes to hearing.

Thanks Sylvia!

I'll definitely try the kefir. I drank it alot pre-op, but know that some kefir drinks have carbonation so I assumed they wouldn't be tolerable post-op. I like that it has protein in it!

Yeah... not all probiotics are equal, as is the same for all supplements. I watched a recent Frontline program about supplements and as a result, I research the quality standards of any company before I buy.

Good luck to you with your surgery! Do you have a date set yet?

Lisa

If we drink water or anything else with meals it can wash the food out of our pouch. It will make us feel hungrier between meals. That is why a lot of people say it will cause regain.

You feel like you are choking after you eat or between eating and drinking?  Things work for one person may not work for another. This website is a great place to come for help. I know I really needed it in the beginning.  I really need it now also.
