My surgery is Monday, June 6th. I can't wait. My question is my surgeon told me no more coffee after surgery. I only drink maybe 1 cup in the morning. I don't understand why I won't be able to have any. Is this going to be for a lifetime? How have you all handled this and were you told the same thing?![]()
I can email you some information about the program I'm doing. Based on your weight and goals It'll tell you needed caloric intake and base your portion nutrition system on that very easy to follow and filling. No entire food groups eliminated.
Hi Kelley. My best advice would to train your brain. Yes, it is hard to get past that hungry feeling, but you should try to stick with it. Cheating just a little now, can lead to cheating post-op, and that is where you might fall back into the same predicament as before WLS.
Drink more water, occupy your mind and hands. The headache will go away. Like any new change, your body is still adjusting.
Be positive, and think of why you are having surgery... and the benefits it has.
You can do it!!

I have been taking vitamin b 12 for almost 8years and now my doc says it is too high. If it does not go down she is looking for leukemia> I am scared to death. I use to buy B 12 at costco and eat them by the handful thinking they were good for energy..more is better. Has anyone else had elevated b 12 like me. Thanks you Ilene
did you tell your doc that you had been eating them by the handful?

Thank you, Daisy, for your reply. I'm researching on some healthy and nutritious diet plan and I hope I will get some diet chart. If you don't mind can you explain your diet plan in details? Thanks!!
Hi.
Well there is no magic fix unfortunately. It goes back to the basics especially abs that comes from your food intake and exercise has to go hand in hand. I'm doing a program with daily shakes (16g protein) , with 30 min total body workouts (at home too cause I don't have hours to put in the gym), nutrition/portion control system (which takes the guesswork out) and coach support for motivaition and accountablitliy. It is easy to follow and effective. Let me know if you want more information.
