thanks for the info and upon my own research I found that it is basically a scam. we all already pay to much to insure ourselves and these types of things are just the tip of the iceberg on why we are getting stuck with such a high cost of healthcare. thanks again for your info and I will not be using insure nutrition.

I am 10 years after surgery and still struggle with binge eating, or knit picking each time I go into the kitchen, so I get it. You are not alone.
My prayers are with you on your journey.

Thank you, again this is all very helpful information. I love it when a patient is so on top of her health. Good for you! I certainly have some new things to try thanks to you.
I had been taking a fiber supplement, psyllium husk or metamuccil (sp), and realized it was causing GI distress. The same goes for a prebiotic. The gastroenterologist told me to stop taking them as they cause gas and bloating.
Just an FYI, if you eat low carb then you could test negative for Celiac. When I lived in NJ, the gastroenterologist that I went to told me this. She said she would go into the small bowel where many gastro do not go -- I think she was referring to how far she would go, it was years ago so I don't recall her exact words. Anyway, she said she would send it to a special lab to be analyzed (again I forget her exact words). They found some celiac sprue, and that gastro said it made it appear that I was either coming into or going out of Celiac -- I know that doesn't make sense but that is how she expressed it to me. It was because of the Paleo Diet that I follow that there weren't many Celiac sprue, and at that they were apparently hard to find.
I hope this is helpful.
Thank you. It makes sense to mix up the probiotics. Thanks for sharing that piece of the doctor's advice. I need to see another gastroenterologist. I have many of the symptoms of SIBO, and even if that is not my issue, SOMETHING is.
Here is an article on SIBO for anyone who may want to learn more http://chriskresser.com/sibo-what-causes-it-and-why-its-so-h ard-to-treat/
I'm only a few weeks into my first month of six of my supervised diet. I have lost 12.4 lbs so far. I noticed last week I started to binge eat again. I find myself knit picking at things each time I go near the kitchen. They are healthy things, but its still binge eating. I don't go over my 1500 calories and I still count everything I put in my mouth and log it in MyFitnessPal.
My worry is, what if I gain all that 12 lbs back before my second weigh in, in a couple weeks. and I would have to start all over again. Everytime I say i'm going to get back on track with my diet I binge again.
Anyone else done this who is also a binge eater?

insure nutrition
- please be aware that there are a lot of scam companies that provide "free proteins drinks" as long as your insurance pays for some other products i.e. very expensive "scar cream".. these companies scammed a lot of insurance for a lot of money... and if they could prove you in anyway benefited from the scam - you may be on-line to repay some of the money...

Just curious what your diet plans included being 2 months post op from gastric sleeve?

Who's better than you?! Thanks so much I've got the coupons in hand and will be heading to Wally World to Get premier protein for under a dollar a serving! I also did the insure nutrition thing the other day and received an email from them that I have to give them a call.
thanks again and best of luck in your journey
