Topic: vsg nausea 4 days post op

Ive been having a hard time with maintaining my 64 oz of water daily but I am walking fine and moving.  Recently I started my protein ready to drink muscle milk.... I had about 4 oz in about 20ish mins... im feeling really sick now... headache and nausea gurgling in my stomach and chest/throat....

Is this normal? Does this subside?

Topic: Anyone eating Salad or Cukes post-surgery

Obviously when we do eat we can only consume very small amounts but I was under the understanding that Salad was a no no even in small amounts.  Is anyone out there eating small salads and if so does it have any complications or does it help?

Topic: RE: What keeps you full/satisfied?

Hi, I'm just short of 3 weeks post op, and I'm wondering the opposite, really: I can't get in all my protein, nutrients and water. I feel ridiculously full at the end of each day.

to answer your question about protein, though, not all protein is the same.  I can't eat casein protein because it gels in the stomach/pouch and breaks down too slowly. You might want to try it. A serving should keep you feeling full for 3-4hours.

Topic: RE: Pureed diet

It explains here:

Matcha tea works as a fat blocker that helps in losing weight. The catechins in matcha tea increase fat burning capacity to prevent increase in weight. Matcha tea has also chlorophyll that detoxifies the body. The catechins and the chlorophyll working together enhance the capacity of matcha tea in weight management.

Topic: RE: not loosing weight

I admit im a cheater when it comes to diet plan, my weight is not loosing and i been exercising and do a lot of  starvation and even tying out weight loss alternative medicine like an apple cider vinegar. it works for just a few months, but what keeps my loosing weight fast is having green tea into my diet preferably matcha. An hour before meals i drink matcha it is much faster when loosing weight with green tea based on what i experience. of you would like to try out matcha try this http://matchaoutlet.com/matcha/starter-matcha-1lb/  i been using this as frappe. latte and baking.

Topic: Long term CENTRUM users

I am on another site and the subject of vitamins came up. The leaders of the board were very adamant that long term centrum use is not effective and will lead to deficiencies.

I have been taking 2 centimints a day coupled with my calcium and a B12 sublingual. Am I way off base?

I want to do this correctly. I didn't have the surgery to let my stupidity kill me down the road
