Why are you not doing good on your pre-op?  Are you eating off plan?

Why did your surgery get pushed the first time was it due to non-compliance?

WLS is a very serious surgery and if you are having trouble now with sticking to the plan then you will have problems post-op.

Please get to a therapist to help you with your food issues.

Remember we all had and still have issues with food you are not alone.

I lost ten pounds in 11 days post-op.  No food at all.  Just clear and sugarfree liquids.  Diet cranberry juice, crystal light, broth, sugar-free jello and water.  No milk, no protein shakes, and nothing but clear liquids.

Nothing wrong with a breakfast snack mid morning. Sometimes all I can manage on mornings I'm rushing off to work, is to pack breakfast with my lunch or drink a protein shake on my commute. Sometimes I forget about breakfast until lunch, but oh, well....

How badly are you messing up?

Practice good habits now or you will fail after the surgery. You have to take yourself seriously. It's worth it

Give in and follow the process. It's good practice for the rest of your life.

I make myself drink a protein shake in the morning because I know I will be ten times hungrier later if I do not have something. I know other people here on OH do not eat breakfast and do just fine.

My surgeon's office never gave me a calorie count. I consumed under 1000/day while I was trying to lose.

Topic: Breakfast a no-go?

Hey y'all. I have been having an issue lately where my stomach just doesn't seem at all interested in breakfast. It doesn't matter what I eat, after about half of it, my stomach is saying "Leave me alone!" I feel full and, sometimes, a little nauseous. Usually, in an hour and a half, I'm feeling hungry. (I take a PPI, so I don't think it's that, but you never know.) Also, the things that I eat at breakfast, I can eat the full serving at any other meal. (Full serving for me right now is 4oz by volume.)

Anyone else run into this problem? How did you solve it?
