Topic: nausea

Is it common to still have nausea 5 weeks since the surgery?  I am taking the anti nausea medication that helps for a time but it comes back.

Fire her.  Quickly.

If you are part of a multidisciplinary program, see if there is another dietitian/nutritionist you can work with, and report her behavior to the program.  It may just be a personality clash, or she may be treating others the same.

Nevertheless, don't take mistreatment from anyone, no matter how badly you want the surgery.

Teeth are made up of enamel and dentin. If we are eating the ice then we are putting a great deal of pressure on our teeth and it is bad for enamel, which can cause cracks or chips. When the enamel is chipped and dentin is exposed,  teeth will weaken and experience sensitivity. And it bad for the germs.I read some articles from the best custom essays about the eating ice and teeth ,if you have interest read it.

I am fighting the same battle. I know I need to quit beer altogether but not sure if I can. I live near you in Frederick, lets support each other.

I found after surgery I couldnt tolerate my protein shakes. The only way I was able to tolerate them was by diluting them down or mixing them with plain greek yogurt and making a disgusting looking "slurry". A lot of the protein shakes were just "too sweet" for me at the time and I found the greek yogurt cut the sweetness. Good Luck to you

Pagophagia is a form of pica—it’s a disorder where people have the constant urge to consume ice, or iced drinks. But, why is eating ice bad for you? Chomping on a piece of ice may appear to be a seeminglyharmless habit, but it can actually be detrimental to your teeth.

craving ice can be the sign of dangerously low iron level. I found this out from experience and ended up having a blood transfusion and two rounds of IV iron.
