I don't understand the 4oz thing, I don't wait if I'm only drinking liquids. I count the liquids in shakes to my total water intake for the day. The 1/2 hour wait is when you eat food, like dense protein or any kind of food in general, b4 you drink water/liquids.

No one surgery is better than the other, what works for one may not work for another.

I love the Premier, before surgery I loved the vanilla....after surgery? I can't stand the vanilla lol It's chocolate all the way for me..... love their protein bar's as well. I get mine at Sam's Club ![]()

Do you literally take a 4oz amount each half hour for liquid?
Do you count liquid in shakes towards daily intake?
so you have a liquid intake 4oz wait half an hour then start on the shakes at 4 oz then half hour for each 4oz then back to water?
Unsweetened coconut milk has even less carbs than almond milk, and is also easy to make :)
Lori, I have the sleeve but wanted to comment because I was found to have low magnesium at my 3 month follow up. In hindsight, I think I have had it for years. I would get muscle twitching/charley-horse type things on a regular basis. This seemed to start years ago after a major surgery where nerves were cut. And, since the charley horses/twitches were mostly in that same area, my docs never seemed all that worried about it.
Anyway, after my magnesium was found to be low, I started taking a magnesium supplement and I haven't had another twitch/charley horse.

I couldn't stand the pure protein drink as well as many others I tried. I actually like the premier protein drinks as well as many others because they are always sold out at Walmart.

thanks a lot. However I did get a new prescription pantaprazole
and only took it 1 time and so far (knock on wood) no more coughing. You are indeed right the nigh time eating.

Some of the atkins bars are pretty good and low in carbs same with the zone bars like fudge graham.
