The taste is ok but on the sweet side. The texture is good and it mixes easily. I may try adding PB2 (powdered peanut butter) to cut down on the sweetness. It does actually taste like peanut butter cookie dough. The price is lower per ounce than a lot of powders. Overall I'd recommend it.

Topic: Advice for a veteran who is lost

Hello

I had gastric bypass in 2009 and lost from 280 to 135 within the 1st year. I've

Did well with eating but due to a diagnosis of MS that I've lived with for 20 years, I've

encountered recent mobility challenges. Within the last 18 months I've had to resort to

canes walkers and a scooter. Since then I have gained over 40 lbs and have gone from

size 12 to 18. This is unacceptable. I need help with diet and movement. Determined to

live in weightless victory. Thanks for your support. Dr. VadaC

I think you can go for GM Diet.. A 7 days diet plan. Every day there is different diet plan like, 1st day you will have fruit diet, 2nd day you will have vegetable diet, 3rd day fruits and vegetables together and so on. You can search it on Internet, you will get the detailed information.

Topic: RE: Recommended daily CARB intake???

Are you pre-op or post-op and which surgery?

I don't have a specific number, but my team's rule to me was to limit any item I eat to under 10 grams of sugar per serving, with the exception of one piece of fresh fruit per day and then I don't have to worry about the sugar on that.

I really don't eat carbs any more because I need to meet a 80-90 gram of protein goal - so to get all that protein in it is always protein first. Once every two or three weeks I'll have some bread or a bagel.

Keep on losing!

I don't think I've tried anything else with Allulose. But even the stuff that other protein bars use as a so-called "fiber" doesn't act as fiber at all. It has calories, and effects blood sugar very quickly. Another reason that doing net carbs on processed foods doesn't work.
