Couldn't find these listed in the products to review so I'm posting their info here.
Picked a package of these up at Costco 2 weeks ago to try. I really like the flavor, reminds me of spring rolls without the wrappers. The texture is soft & easy to portion into the size bite you need to not upset your stomach. Almost better than that is the ease of preparing them -- Thaw one overnight in the fridge then pop it in the microwave for 25 seconds & it's ready to eat.
I'm stocking up on my next trip to Costco because my daughter likes them too. You can also order them direct online if you don't live near a Costco or have a membership.

I used to occasionally puree a banana in my shake - but more like 1/4 of one, because they have quite a bit of sugar in them

Thank you! Seems like a good thing to have around in a pinch, especially at work where prep options can be limited.
Good Morning,
I am new to this site so please bear with me. I just started my pre-op diet yesterday, my surgery is in 4 weeks. The question that I have is in regards to the sweetness of the protein shakes that I am using. It is way too much. Any ideas how I could cut some of that sweetness? Thanks so much.
Good morning!
I made ace my first protein shake at home this morning with Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk and Muscle Milk Lite powder Vanilla Creme. I didn't like the flavor so I added half a banana.
Will I be able to have the half banana puréed after surgery?
I actually liked it, pretty tasty!
Thanks!

Hi I'm a vegan. I use both unflavored soy (jarrow) and pea protein (unjury). The soy protein works well mixed with soy milk, cacao powder and stevia. I found the pea protein was better mixed with savory items like veggie broth. I just ordered another mixed unflavored protein powder but don't know how it will be. I also stared a group for veg*s and would love folks to join. http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/Vegans_Vegetarians/tab,0/page,1/

I think there's enough sodium in so many things, that you don't need to drink broth to get it.
Maybe im not understanding why you are drinking it. I only used broth during my pre op diet to stave off hunger.
If you are worried about electrolytes, the nutritionist at my clinic said you can replenish with G2 Gatorade, or by adding orange juice to water at a 1:4 ratio (I.e. 1 quarter cup of juice to 1 litre of water) and adding a pinch of salt.

Yes, I've eaten baby food, actually it was a suggestion by the nutritionist as I was moving from 1 stage to the other. Felt like an idiot shopping for baby food with no baby.
