I am an avid gardener. I'm also the coordinator of a large organic community garden. I am getting super excited for the upcoming growing season. I started my seeds a few weeks ago and everything is growing nicely. I've got my community garden plots and back yard raised beds all planned out on paper along with my flower bed.
I'm starting an asparagus bed and a strawberry bed this year. They will take at least a couple years, but I can't wait until they are ready so we can enjoy them for years to come. I am also thinking about planting two or three blueberry bushes.
Anyone else garden?
Excellent video. It is such a serious issue and as the video depicts, most people are paralyzed by bullying, whether they are the victims or the observers.

Not just a status of finances but of intelligence and capability as well. I'm guilty, I will not use a physician who is extremely overweight, when I'm making a judgement call I use that as one of my indicators. At the same time I will not use a physician who looks down on me for being overweight. But then again I won't use a gyn with hangnails :)

Being overweight is now considered a problem of "the poors", actually. After having been an indicator of wealth, being overweight is now much more common among those with lower incomes. Being thin is a status thing. It demonstrates that you have the resources (time and money) to keep yourself healthy and your weight down. When you're poor and live in food deserts, it's very, very difficult to eat properly or have the time to exercise. It's very sad.

Yes it has gone down but it is still number 8 in murder rates of cities with 500000 or more people. Detroit is number one like I mentioned. Chicago is right up there as well. murder So I give you credit you did lots of research. I really am not going to spend that much time to find data to keep this going. I applaud you for all of your research. I am glad you enjoyed. You did not change my mind in any way but I am all for someone who can intelligently argue with me on a matter.
I love watching fencing at the Olympics-- it looks like dancing! But you can tell that their brains are moving SO quickly to try to figure out where to go next, I imagine it must be really intense!
