From the sound if it, I didn't miss much.
Thanks for noticing the weight loss. I'm just beginning to notice it myself. Unfortunately, the number seems impressive only because I had so much to lose in the first place.

Unless you're Alton Brown! His little yeast sock puppets on the episode about bread were hilarious, did you ever see that one?

As I said wasn't a frequent poster but truthfully I thought it had its place- i.e. somewhere for the vets to blow off a little steam when they were frustrated by seeing the same question for about the 1278th time just because some people didn't use the search button or read back quite a few pages. Better on rants and raves than on the original frustrating post.

It was dreadful. Be grateful you missed it.
Hey, that's some weight loss you have managed! Way to go!

OH closed R&R because of the quality of what was posted and it was public for anyone to see who chose to enter the forum.
So the group was made private so only those who join the group can read whatever- private groups are not moderated but they are closed.
The Off Topic forum was started instead, and it is moderated.

I've never seen this other site you all are talking about, but it sounds dreadful. What was the point of it?
So far I've found mostly support and encouragement. I'm glad I haven't run into any really bad apples.

Cool for little ones, if you can get them away from their electronic contraptions. A little odd for adults . . .
Feel free to discuss.

Hi Maya.
Me, too. We are supposed to be helpful to our fellow man, for we are all brothers and sisters, right? It's so nice to meet you.
Well bless you right back. I have mainly read on this site for some time and I know the tireless work you have done in an effort to sanitize things and make it what it should be - a decent, supportive, safe environment where we can be there for each other. Thank you for your moral decency. I know there were a few others that took a stand but I can't recall their names. I do remember one had the cutest white cat with glasses on! She always seemed to be a nice lady, too.
Oh my heck, Anne! Who in this amazing world would tell you that you would be the only person who would not be allowed? Do they really let everyone else except you? Oh, I'm terribly sorry. What do you mean you were (un)kindly told? Heavens, I have missed a lot I guess.
I'm glad this new forum is here. How did it come about? Some people have posted some interesting topics - I enjoyed the one about the birds and always like seeing that young lady with the actors name, she has thoughtful questions and we need more of that in our lives.
