1st Cosco Trip, What do I get?

Just wondering what you get at Cosco.
I am going for the first time.

So far on my list are Premier Protein shakes & greek yogurt.

I get Premier Protein and am going to look for Gatorade G2 this time.

I don't remember Gatorade G2 mentioned anywhere in the papers I've received.  Is it to use right after surgery and why?

I have been using G2 since surgery for hydration purposes. I drink one a day and fill the container with water a minimum of 3 more times. My guidelines are from Cornell so could differ from others.

Do we still need a membership to be able to shop there? Because I don't have one

yes you do need a membership, however anyone can get one. It used to be only businesses.
It think they are $50 to $100 depending which membership you get.

 Only if you go enough times to make the annual membership's cost up in savings. There's certain things that I only get from Costco, such as fuji apples, milk, cat food, back pain pills (generic robaxacet), bread, vitamins, vegetables, dishwasher detergent, sandwich meat, etc.  It's certainly where I'd go for the yogurt since it's the best price I've seen for Greek. 

I only stop by once a month and have an Amex through Costco, so I get twice the rebate every year on costco purchases. It comes as 3-4% back in a rebate check that you can use at Costco.

For everything else, you'll have to gauge your own lifestyle and shopping habits since a vast majority of things you can find cheaper elsewhere or don't need a gallon of salad dressing.
