How are all the new bench sitters feeling?
Oh Jennifer it sounds like you are doing great!! Congrats on selling your house!!! Hope Monica sells hers today too.
Sounds like you might have over done it.... up on a ladder replastering the ceiling lol.
So good to hear you aren't having low energy. Keep up the good work and thanks for the update.

awww... Brenda you are so sweet! I am feeling fabulous and almost like normal. I do have a struggle to get my 2L of fluids in, but it increases every day! I am now 6 days out and have far more energy than I ever did pre-op. I can't wait to start hearing about your journey and all the wows that are waiting to happen for you!
not quite getting in 2L, but close. I just follow the sample menu that my center gave me and when you stretch it out and change up what you are having (ie. broth, sf jello, etc...) it makes it easier. Now I am battling a little bit of constipation, but will get that fixed in a jiff before it becomes a problem! hope you are doing well!
I came home yesterday and didn't feel too bad till the evening when I found I was very nauseated
and the pain in my back made it impossible to sleep despite the meds. I have been sipping and walking, taking my vitamins and pain medication but truly didn't think I would be this uncomfortable today after feeling so well yesterday when I left Ottawa. I don't regret the surgery I am looking forward to feeling like myself again soon.
I have to walk up and down 14 stairs to go to the bedroom/bathroom but I just take my time. Coughing is rough so I use a pillow to help.
That's all I can say for now, hoping to have more positive things in the days to come.
Thanks for your posting,
Tracey

Brenda - I haven't had my surgery yet, will be having it November 21, 2011 - but I must tell you that I always read your post and can't help but to think you're such a positive person and someone who is so caring towards others... I just want to wish you alot of success through your own journey - I know it won't be too long before we will be reading about YOU!
