Welcome Kristen.  Dr. Aarts did my surgery last week and you will be impressed with her.  She did a fabulous job.  Minimal scars and pain, I did 3 weeks of Optifast and it really helps her job while she is moving around in there.  Good Luck with everything and I hope to see your updates.

Thanks Tammy!  I am so glad to hear your experience with Dr. Aarts went well! I am very impressed by her so far- she is friendly and patient. I had a gastroscopy done by her on Jan 25 and about 45 minutes or so later we were leaving the hospital at the same time and she said "Goodbye Kristen!" It is just a little thing but huge to me that she remembered my name! Unfortunately, not at all similar to my past experience with Dr's.
