Good idea, to do the measurements! If I stick with my plan of not having a scale at home after surgery, then I might be well-advised to take my measurements before so I can do them occasionally afterwards for inspiration. :) I just don't want to be constantly riding the scale and letting it determine my mood, because I know I'm like that...

I lost over a 7 foot basketball player in inches. I always made sure to measure every two weeks and weigh every week plus take a pic once a month on the day I had my surgery. I had 3 ways to measure my success in case the scale didn't cooperate. I have an excel sheet if anyone wants it where you can keep track of everything. I used it faithfully for years.
Tracy... I made an excel spread sheet too for tracking purposes...but maybe yours is better. I will send you a personal message with my home email...maybe you could send it to me?
