30/30 challenge - Day 1 check in
I thought we could post our progress on a daily basis to keep us accountable and ask for a swift kick in the butt if we need it. LOL Here's how I got my 30 minutes of exercise in yesterday.
-30 minutes of cardio using Your Shape on the Kinect
-took the kids and the dog for a long walk at the beach. (30 minutes or so)
So I got about 60 minutes of exercise yesterday. The plan today is a bike ride with the kids. I find that they move so slow that it's not much of a workout for me so I will do the Kinect exercises again later. I'll check back in tomorrow. :)

OK, I'm in, too.
I'm part of Erica's walking challenge so I guess most of my activity will include walking. I'd like to change it up a little this month and add some different activities in. Time to pull the bicycle out, go swimming again, try a Zumba class and do some proper uphill hiking. My personal challenge this month will be to expand my horizons a little more.
Yesterday I walked a total of 10K (5K times two) so that's ~120 minutes of activity for me.
This is a great challenge!!

A friend at work was upgrading her bike and asked me if I'd like the "old" one which is great. Today I got a new wider seat - those skinny ones should come with a note that says "insert here". So, I'm now heading out the door for my first bike ride on my new bike! 30 minutes here I come! Thanks for the motivation.

I got in about an hour's worth of cleaning today, which I would equate to 30 mins of more serious exercise. Not exactly what I intended but life intervenes sometimes, eh? I will do better tomorrow! :-)
