Then I'm simply THRILLED that I decided to place you on my team!!
Want to join the CRAZY TransCanada Challenge?? Just message me. Here's a link to the rules: http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/on/4570778/REPOST-The-CRAZY-TransCanada-Challenge-Rules/

I've been a lurker for a long time now! I always look forward to reading all of the posts and soaking up as much info as I can!
I've posted a few times since my surgery in May but mostly I just read and learn. I feel like I already know alot of the posters just from being here so often and reading their posts. You just get to know people's sense of humour and their way of conveying things to the group.
Personally, I don't really know why I don't post more often, maybe I just feel that I don't really have much to contribute being that I only had my surgery 5 months ago.
I WANT to post more, and be more a part of the group, so maybe I will just have to take the plunge!
Great question and thanks for opening up a conversation about this Karen!

Wow what an awesome topic!!
I had my surgery almoest 6 months ago. I used to post often but now I lurk more then comment. I think it is because alot of the people I chatted with before I don't see on here much.
This site has so much info and made my life much easier before and right after surgery. Then I lost weight and more opportunities came up for me to go out and it was exciting. Now I think I need to get my skinnier ass back on here and connect with y'all again.
Thanks Karen for making me analize my actions

I didn't read all the replies... I don't know if this is the same way for everyones that goes to HRRH but one of my friends just found out her date and when I asked her what surgery she was having she had no idea... She kept telling me the gold standard.. Like that was the name of the surgery.
i asked hubby how I found all my info cause by the time I had a surgery date I could almost do it my self I had learned that much about it... He said its cause I was on here so much it's like the people here were sitting in our living room every night while I read and everyone was so forthcoming with information that I had no choice really but to absorb the info.
I have since explained to my friend what it is in fact she is having and I want to encourage everyone to ask ask ask... No one bites... Really we don't .. Ok well we don't leave marks we may nibble a little. Lol

Love this!! I too really only post if I have something to say. Generally I read and pipe in here and there. Being only 5 months post-op I am always looking for something new about my stage that I have not experienced or in some cases experienced.
Some posts I just totally stay away from when I find myself shaking my head or talking (loudly) to the computer screen...lol I guess I do that often enough for hubby to ask what I am biatching about lol
I have never felt umcomfortable posting, and really I must add that it was here that for the first time in at least 15 years that I admitted my highest weight to someone other than a medical professional. This is a great place to be and I wouldn't change it for anything!!
