Is any alchohol permitted, 3 months post op?

You do not need alcohol to have a good time and to celebrate your son wedding. In fact when I got married I had no booze at the wedding and not one person complain.  This is a start to a new life and being 3 months out is way to soon. This new life you have been given also means learning control and saying no thanks. Go have a good time drink some water down juice.

Thank you everyone for your advice. I figure I'll know when the time comes. I haven't dumped yet, so, my body is a good indicator of what I can and cannot have. If it hurts, I stop. So I'll try a couple sips. Lol

Another thing to consider is your poor liver.  Right now in the weight loss phase your body is detoxifying and your liver is already working overtime.  Alcohol puts extra strain on your organs.
