Good morning :)
Nothing specific planned for today but I'm hoping to pick up some shelving and organize the little nuggets closet. When that room was my office we got rid of the closet doors so now it doesn't look great full of stuff.
QOTD: at home my favourite thing is a hot bath. Away from home would be a good relaxing massage. Or a scalp massage and haircut.
Post-op four years and one month.
Breakfast - nut bar
Snack - yogurt and banana
Lunch - leftover sausages
Snack - something and PB
Dinner - tbd
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
Good morning everyone, welcome to your weekend. This morning I have a doctor's appointment. The rest of the day is mine to get into as much trouble as I can.
QOTD: What is your favourite self care thing? Mine is a foot massage. There is a chain of places in Toronto called Happy Feet. When I visit Toronto I try to go. Never thought I would like it as much as I do.
The eats today at 4 years 8 months post-op are:
B. Rivers of decaf
L. Spinach salad with HB egg, bacon, steak, cucumber, grilled asparagus, Caesar Dressing (let's just call this a cleaning out the fridge salad)
D. Half of a low carb wrap with 1 scrambled egg, 1/4 spicy Italian sausage, 1 slice of bacon. Fresh salsa
S. Cucumber with spicy crab dip.
Totals 1027, Carbs 36, Fat 78, Protein 57, Fibre 11. The scale is up this week so I need to take action.
I'm still on no exercise today, but fingers crossed for next week.
Have a great weekend everyone.

Maybe try dipping in an egg and put a light coating of breadcrumbs on them. I usually add some seasoning to my breadcrumbs too.
How much does Slimtime cost? I got a letter scheduling to meet the surgeon but no prices since toronto western doesn't use optimist anymore.
Overpriced mlm. Poor protein ratio. Umm surprised OH would endorse this.

Good afternoon :)
I had my (very special) medical appointment this morning and then we went to Costco to get a membership. We had one about six years ago which apparently messed up the lady doing ours because it should have been a renewal -- I had no idea how long they would keep our info. All I remembered was that at that time it came with an Amex credit card which no longer exists lol. DH insisted we wouldn't need a cart... Ha!! Good thing we took the van ;) He's no fun to shop with there so next time I will take my grandmother.
QOTD: I think around 10am is usually best for me. I've had time to wake up but I haven't hit my afternoon slump. I also tend to be more awake right before bed which gets me in trouble when I get on my phone.
Post-op four years and a month.
Breakfast - PB and banana
Snack - Costco sample and a nut bar
Lunch - bacon and tomato on Costco bun
Snack - Greek yogurt maybe...
Dinner - some kind of leftovers
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
You know me so well ;) lol. More fish for you!!
Good afternoon all. You are a busy busy lady CC so it's no wonder you are lacking on some sleep. Congrats on 3 years Ginny! I'll be hitting you up for gym advice once they clear me, hopefully in May ;)
QOTD : I feel my best mid morning and then again about 10 p.m., probably because I'm a night owl. I do my best to get to bed by midnight but that doesn't always happen.
B - greek yogurt, blueberries
S - turkey pepperette
L - roast chicken, broccoli mix
S - boiled egg
D - protein shake as i'll be off to my hair appt (Crossing fingers she can do some styling this time... super thin still)
S - low fat cheese if needed
Note : I bought some frozen haddock fillets at Costco that said - 140 cal, 0 fat, 30 g protein per portion, Any suggestions on what to put on them before baking or grilling? (I know Meg will be making this face )

Happy Surgiversary. Three years ago, you were no where near as strong as you are now. I love that you are a gym beast. You are an inspiration, and having seen your pic, you are looking great. Your trucker is a lucky man and he had better stop snoring, lol. I have my old CPAP in case he needs it.
