As it happens, i am sure we all have our moments of weakness , but stand up and shake off the dust again,.

S - Venison Jerky ( yup its hunting season)
D - Roast chicken breast with salad
S - baby bell cheese
Have a blessed day yall..

Good morning :)
The little nugget was up early and I couldn't fall back asleep, so I figured I'd get the day started. It's nice to have a bit of quiet me time -- it will end shortly since I've said that!! Lol.
Today we are going to the doctor's office. I'm getting blood drawn, then the nugget has her four month vaccines :( I can't believe she is four months old already!!
Our weekend was interesting (not in a good way). Our dryer is no longer heating up and our toilet is leaking. Oh joy. I stress ate a lot yesterday. Thank goodness DH is handy. We have parts ordered for the dryer and I think the toilet is fixed. But we currently have a hole in our kitchen ceiling and one cupboard ripped down. We will put it back together once we confirm the leak has totally stopped.
QOTD: how do you stop yourself from stress eating (if that affects you)? I have friends who are slim and stop eating when they are stressed. I overeat. Neither of which is healthy. I try napping and redirecting myself when I'm stressed. Some Facebook browsing or online shopping. I also go to my to-do list and see if there is something small I can knockout.
Post-op three years and nine months.
Breakfast 1 - protein bar
Breakfast 2 - Greek yogurt with berries
Snack - Melba with PB
Lunch - beef roast and carrots
Snack - egg and pickles
Dinner - pizza toppings
Snack - pudding
All water and vits.
I was in a former ward room, there were 2 in a room but our neighbors were behind a half wall covered by drapes, so you could hear EVERYTHING they said but could not see them. I also shared a bathroom with the other three.
There was also private rooms. If I had to do it over again I would definitely get the private room. In my room, there was 2 people recovering from emergency surgery and in a great deal of pain and they were also loud with their visitors.
You're in better shape than I was at this point.
Are you drinking your protein shakes?
Try a stool softener to ease matters a bit.

I don't recall seeing any wards, nor do I recall seeing any privates. As I walked the floor after surgery all the rooms seemed to be semi privates.

was just wondering if the rooms in st Joes Hamilton are ward rooms (4 to a room) or do they do private rooms? Also do they allow spouses to spend the night if you're in private? TIA!

I?m currently on optifast and I?m paying $63(and change) per week. That?s through st Joes in Hamilton.
Edit* Im on it for 3 weeks and the pharmacy allows you to by week by week so you don't need to buy it all at once.
I have to do two weeks of Optifast as well, and t cost me $175.00. I ordered it right after I met with the surgeon at UH in London on Dec 3 and it was delivered the next day.
