Topic: RE: Anyone recommend frozen meal product?

Can you just meal prep your own food and freeze meal size portions for yourself? That way you can control all the ingredients that go into the dishes. I have several small tupperware/rubbermaid containers and just freeze my leftovers in portion size for myself, and then larger containers for my husband. Even at over 2-1/2 years out I don't buy frozen boxed meals.

Wow - 2 months already! Time flies! XMAS time is tough time for anyone in retail - always on your feet and having to run 24/7. Hope you make it through and just take time to take care of yourself!

I'm sure that your bariatric team would encourage you to keep seeing your counsellor - any help is a good thing. I would highly doubt they would ever ask you to stop seeing someone who is helping you with your issues.

I definitely don't think you would be required to stop seeing the counselor you are already seeing. You will have to be seen by one of the bariatric social workers but that is just standard for everyone. I would definitely encourage you to continue with the help you have been receiving as it will help you with the whole process.

Good morning, or what must feel like afternoon now CC!! You're such a good wife!! I wanted to do some cycling this monring on the recumbent bike but of the four of them in the cardio theatre only one works. It's too dark in there for the guy that was using it to see my death stare to get him to move. so I hopped on the elliptical for 40 minutes or so and then did some stretching.

Accountability: I was doing good until about 930 last night.....not going to stress about it but try and make better choices between now and the new year and seriously straighten my **** out then.

QOTD: I so remember kindergarten. Teacher was Mrs Mulder and on day two a new student came to class, her name was Karyn also (but I spell mine with an e). The teacher put her beside me and we became fast friends and stayed that way all through elementary school. We went to different high schools and then lost touch.

Eats today are much the same as yesterday (sort of). 2 yrs 7 mos

GF - premier protein

B - 2 eggs, turkey sausage crumbles, cheese slice

S - apple cinnamon yogurt (new limited edition flavour, haven't tried it yet)

L - jumbo summer sausage sandwich on skinny bread with lettuce and havarti, cucumbers with a little Renee's Creamy Greek dressing for dipping (I blame you CC)

S - deli turkey, cheese string

D - chicken wings, cauliflower bake

Have an awesome day!

Happy Hump Day Menu Peeps. I am posting this Tuesday night because I have to be out the door at 4:30am. This morning I'm driving DH to the train station, then hanging around with a coffee until swimming starts, then yoga and errands before I pick DH up again in the evening.

Accountability: So far so good

Question of the Day: Do you remember kindergarten? I can remember parts of it, yet can't remember where I put my phone an hour ago.

The eats today at 4 years post-op are:

B. Protein latte, rivers of decaf, later egg bite sous vide

L. Bacon/Avocado/Grilled Chicken low carb wrap

D. Beef stew with buttah'd broccoli on the side (the last of the beef stew)

Have a great day everyone.

The exhaustion in part is because you have had major surgery. Don't worry about having low calories. Your body has it's fuel source in stored fat, and you want to access those stores. Make sure that you are staying hydrated, that will help with the tiredness. You have a very small pouch, so make sure that you measure everything and always eat protein first because that is what helps your body heal.

Pedal to the metal now until your reach your goal. No treat is worth stopping you from taking advantage of your honeymoon losing phase. Those things will still be there when you reach goal and then you can see what you can tolerate. You've got this.

You are only a month post-op, and I was trying to remember what I ate at that time. I know that I could buy one of those big turkey meatballs that they sell at the hot foods counter in the grocery store, and that would last me for 4 meals. I think I used to buy frozen chicken meatballs and have 2 of them with a little gravy and a spoonful of mashed cauliflower (Green Giant frozen).

Topic: Anyone recommend frozen meal product?

Hi.

I find having some frozen dinners as back up helpful. I did find one lean cuisine which was protein and veggies - with 19g protein, low cal. (sometimes these are great to just grab to take to work for lunch)

Anyone have some to recommend?

Thanks!

Sunny

Evening everyone

I was just wondering I am seeing a counceler already to help me with my issues, I was just wondering if I will have to stop seeing her in order to continue with the process or can she share notes?
