Morning CC! Omg lists? I have a million on the go right now too. Going to Mexico on Thursday and have a ton of things to do before we go. Been awake since 3:30 thinking about what I have to do. Actually got up and wrote stuff down. Sadly I didn't go to sleep after that though. How long will you be down south?
Good morning Menu Peeps. The workmen didn't show up yesterday, so who knows about today. I started packing yesterday for my trip down south. Lots of calls and emails to get done today, but first swimming.
Accountability: Nope, I had a snack before bed, and this morning my blood sugar is up.
Question of the Day: Do you make lists? Right now I am working off of about a dozen lists of things to get done. More gets added then taken off.
The eats today at 4 years post-op are:
B. Protein latte, then puddles of decaf
L. Crab salad in half of an avocado (homemade) with a side salad of spring mix and Renee's Creamy Feta dressing
D. Beef stew with some buttah'd broccoli on the side.
All water and vitamins. Have a great day everyone.

I never thought of putting peanut butter in my mug cakes. That sounds delicious... I will have to buy some peanut butter ahahahahah!!
And it's liquid whey... The acidic kind from making Greek yogurt. Apparently you can use it kind of like lemon juice. I think DH is going to try making ricotta. Another suggestion I saw was salad dressing... So many options ;)
Is this dried powder whey? You could make mug cakes. Add peanut butter (I know you have some, lol), an egg, whey powder, baking powder (maybe 1/4 tsp), and liquid to thin it a bit like water. Stir it up until it is like a pancake batter consistency and pop it in the microwave for a minute. You can use a different flavour, but you will need a fat to replace the peanut butter (maybe coconut oil or butter). For proper measurements, check The Google, lol.

Collapsible rake? I am not a camper, so what do you use it for? Sounds too much like outdoor cleaning to me.
Where did you get the turkey crumbles? That sounds good.

I was not a fast loser but who cares as long as you get there! I know the newbies check the trackers and the signatures so although I kind of lost track of how the rest of the weight came off, you should know that it was not fast and furious but it was slow and steady!
current BMI 24.7 that, my friends, is NORMAL!!! Strong is the new pretty!
That's great news for you! Positive steps forward! You will do great.
Some people will treat you the same, some better, some worse. I had chubby friends who had a hard time accepting new me because it felt like competition for them to be with me. My weight loss reminded them of their failure to lose weight and they felt guilty eating junk around me. Others were very suppoortive. Most people are good and supportive. Few toxic people are out of my circle now, but leaves room for more positive and happy people now!
Congratulations on the one year anniversary! 97 lbs is a major win!!
I hope you can resolve the gall stones quickly - and I'm really sorry to hear you are in so much pain! Get better soon and take care of yourself. Keep us posted
