I was just thinking though... Dressing my dog up and painting her does sound like something I would do. She has more costumes than I do.
Thanks WIP!!
I made a little typo -- that's pup #1. Next time I'm doing pup #2 -- I figured doing them in order was the most fair way ;) pup #2 is my sweet little guy. He's totally attached to me at all times, but I don't believe in playing favourites lol.
Pup #1 is my sassy redhead. She is a princess with attitude. We say she is part turkey and part dog lol.
Good morning everyone. Yayyy it's Friday and looks to be sunny for a couple of days. Last night I wasn't able to get out for my usual walk because I had a hair appointment plus it was pouring. I came home and hopped on my cycle and used my resistance bands instead. This weekend is "retrofest" which is a whole weekend of classic cars so that should be fun.
QOTD: Yes I enjoy art/crafting but once I had kids,, it kind of got sidelined. I'd enjoy taking a few classes but right now looking for a gym to join will be more of a priority.
B - chicken skewers (I didn't realize i was out of yogurt)
S - low fat SF bran muffin
L - turkey roll-up using lettuce and cheese
S - 1/2 protein shake
D - TBD - we will be out I think
S - turkey pepperettes if hungry

OMG I feel like such an idiot! I thought "paint your pet" night meant you were taking your pet with you and actually painting it. Here I was picturing this dog all made up like some princess or something!
You did a great job! WOW (and yes that's just a bonus,, having fun is the top priority)
I'll be waiting to see pup #1!

Good morning :)
We are doing a couple small errands this morning -- I want to buy a walking toy for the little nugget because we don't have anything she can really use to try to pull up on right now. Then DH wants to go to an electronics store for one of his nerdy projects ;)
Paint night was a lot of fun -- WIP, this pics for you!! I painted pup #2 -- she is a ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The facilitator used the photo to pencil in an outline and then we got to paint it.
QOTD: do you like arting/crafting? I find it a lot of fun and relaxing. My friends are a bit competitive and didn't have as much fun during paint night.
Post-op four years and three months.
Breakfast - milk
Snack - egg, tomato
Lunch - tbd maybe pork roast

Dinner - unknown. I guess I have to look in the freezer lol.
Snack - SF pudding
All water and vits.
I would definitely take Lacteeze with them. Also- head's up on protein AFTER the surgery! Make sure you get one that is NOT-whey based if you're lactose intolerant. I was always pretty severe lactose-intolerant but after the surgery (keeping in mind,I'm just a week post-op) it ratched up big time. I had really severe reaction to the proteins recommended (Premier - ready made) and Kaizam - powder) - it was not pretty LOL
Did some research and found the following at Costco (I ordered online - free delivery, delivered within two days)- which meets TWH criteria in terms of grams per serving of protein (21 g) and carbs (7 g of carb MINUS 5 gm of fiber = 2 g of carbs) - called LeanFit Complete Green Organic Organic Protein Powder. It was ordered Sunday, delivered Tuesday morning. So, far, sitting well albeit I had to break each serving into two as I found drinking one at a time was too much (and keeping in mind I added frozen fruit, 0% skim milk, 1/4 cup 0% sugarless lactose-free Liberte yoghurt) - all pureed to a milkshake like consistency - delish!
I even had a reaction to cream of chicken (duly strained as instructed)- where milk products come sixth in the list so negligible.
You may not find yourself so sensitive - this is just in case you start feeling ill after them!
Ohhhhhh ok, that makes more sense. I am lactose sensitive so thanks for that heads up.

- Nope each box has I think 7 servings of a single flavour. So calculate 4 servings a day times however many days you have to be on it. They will tell you how many boxes you need. You decide how many of each flavour you need. Truth, first week I only got through two avday, second week, two to three (servings) daily. Never 4! But I'm severly lactose intolerant and these are milk based
Oh ok just to make sure i understand when you say the boxes they give you, is that a mix of both flavors?.

Wow that is alot of hgreat info. I just started drinking coffee so I am still trying to figure out how I like it. Are you able to get a mix of chocolate and vanilla slim time?, or can you only pic 1 flavor.
They will give you a choicr. Will tell you how much you need (boxes)then you can split up the way it suits you.
