Well I am "Spontaneous"
Okay gang,
This is what happened on Saturday. I went to Dr. Verseman's seminar that he gives for people interested in surgery. Most the people there were in their 50's...a few younger but not much, 45 people....
At the end of the seminar Dr. Verseman asked if I would like to say a few words. Most of the questions earlier were mostly on health issues/meds/skin issues with wt. loss.
While I was giving my upbeat happy talk, one lady asked if I had plastic surgery. I replied nope, couldn't afford it but I exercised 1-2 hours everyday. I told them I don't call my arms bat-wings I refer to them as angle-wings. I was wearing a sweater and I could tell people were trying to see what my body was like with just exercise.
Finally I said oh heck...just a minute let me take this off, were all adults. Yep, whipped off my sweater, said oh by the way Millie and Maude are very happy in this Victoria Secret bra!!! Flexed my arms and really let them see what some people look like, okay I didn't take my pants off and show off my shar-pai thighs. I had em' laughing and much more relaxed after that.
I let them know everyone looks different and yes many people choose to have plastics but it's just not for me, if I'm gonna spend $$ I want a garage! There's nothing wrong with having plastics and if I win the lotto one day you betcha I'd have plastics. But in the meantime, I will love my body just the way it is.
Then later we had Jen's support group and it was a great group. People who have had bariatric surgery really are open and honest in our group.
Now I promise to keep Millie and Maude covered, I really don't go around taking my clothes off in front of strangers!

Okay I must admit I'm a goofy gal but I would have been glad to have some type of image of what would happen with a large weight loss. I think people honestly were very appreciative and it sure put the room in an upbeat happy mood.
People that go to these seminars are scared, most are too afraid to ask questions. It was all good!...now I promise to keep my shirt on!
